The Annual Day Celebration at our school, themed "BANDHAN," was a resounding success. Students from Nursery to Std II participated, showcasing the intricate relationships from a child's life, starting from the womb to the life partner. The performances beautifully depicted the bonds with parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and life partners, fostering a deep understanding of familial connections. The heartfelt portrayal received applause from parents and the entire audience, acknowledging the efforts of both students and teachers. The Annual Day Celebrations on December 20, 2023, for classes III to VI, centered around the theme "SANSKAR." Through captivating dance performances, the values of parents, gurus, friends, patriotism, and the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka and India were beautifully depicted. The show won the appreciation of one and all leaving a lasting impact on the audience. The Annual Day Celebration for classes VII to X, themed "PARIVARTAN," portrayed the evolution in Nature, the challenges of Casteism, advancements in Science and Technology, reflections on War and Peace, the spirit of Make in India, and the influential individuals shaping societal changes. The program concluded with the powerful message of Vasudaiva Kutumbhakam, emphasizing the global family. The thoughtful presentations earned applause and appreciation from the entire audience.
The Librarian Day Celebration at our school was a resounding success. The event aimed to recognize and appreciate the crucial role that librarians play in promoting reading and learning. Activities included book reading, book- reviews, story telling etc….A mini book fair was organised at the school Library, where students could explore and borrow books. The students actively participated and showed their enthusiasm for reading. The celebration helped reinforce the significance of libraries and books in our school community.
The Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on July 26 Wednesday The grandparents were welcomed with cards and smiley badges. The program began with the invocation song presented by UKG students. The event featured the participation of the school's Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, Coordinator and Security Head.Kindergarten children delighted the grandparents with rhymesand songs, the grandparents were overwhelmed to witness the songs and rhymes. They thoroughly enjoyed the program along with their grandchildren.After the kid’s program , games were organized for both grandmothers and grandfathers. They participated enthusiastically and won prizes.The day wrapped up with a reflection session where grandparents shared memories and expressed appreciation for the school and its management for organizing the wonderful program.
Introduction: On the auspicious day of 23rd June 2023, an investiture ceremony was held at the school premises. The event was presided over by the Principal, Vice Principal, Head Mistress, and Security Head, and it marked the appointment of the new student council members who would take up various leadership roles in the school. Event Details: The investiture ceremony commenced at 10:00 AM in the school playground . The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as students and teachers, gathered to witness the formal recognition and bestowal of responsibilities upon the newly elected student council members.The collective guidance and support of the Dignitaries added a sense of prestige and significance to the occasion. Appointment of Student Council: The investiture ceremony commenced with the introduction of the newly elected student council members. The council included Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Sports Vice Captain, House Captains, Vice Captain , Yoga Leaders, Scouts and Guide Captain and Band Captain. Badging Ceremony: The Principal, Vice Principal, Head Mistress, and Security Head pinned badges sashes on the deserving student council members. The badges symbolized their respective roles and showcased their authority and commitment towards their positions. Oath-Taking Ceremony: Following the badging ceremony, the Principal administered the oath to the student council members. The council members pledged to uphold the values, rules, and responsibilities entrusted to them with utmost sincerity and dedication. The oath-taking ceremony instilled a sense of duty and commitment among the student leaders. Inspirational Speeches: The Principal emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and integrity, urging the council members to be exemplary role models for their peers. Conclusion: The investiture ceremony was a momentous event, the student council members have embarked on a journey to lead their peers with integrity, responsibility, and enthusiasm. International Yoga Day was celebrated with great pomp and show at the school auditorium for the theme VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM. Around 1100 students from Nursery to Std X, 50 Parents & 60 teachers along with the Principal, Vice Principal and the Headmistress participated and performed various Asanas. The celebration began with the series of yoga sessions led by Mrs. Gayathri the experienced Yoga Instructor. The participants were guided through different Asanas & Pranayama to enhance flexibility, balance and mindfulness. Quiz Competitions were conducted to enable the students understand the origin of Yoga, benefits of Yoga and about different types of Asanas. These activities aimed to promote the inner calmness, reduce stress and improve mental clarity. Lectures and Workshops were conducted by the experts which emphasized on various aspects of Yoga such as History, Philosophy, Therapeutic benefits. Etc. Participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Yoga and also clarified their doubts. The event concluded with Yoga Pledge given by Ministry of Ayush where the students resolved to make Yoga an integral part in daily lives.
World Music Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event aimed to promote the importance of music in our lives and to celebrate the diverse musical cultures from around the world. The event showcased the talents of the students and provided a platform for them to express their creativity and passion for music. Cultural Showcases: Students from different grades showcased their talents by presenting music and dance performances representing various cultures from around the world. The performances included traditional folk dances, classical music recitals, and contemporary fusion acts. Each performance was met with thunderous applause and appreciation from the staff and students. Event Highlights:Morning Assembly: The day began with a special assembly where the significance of Environmental Day was explained to the entire student body. The Student Council Election at Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS was a momentous event that showcased the school's commitment to nurturing leadership qualities among its students. The election encompassed various positions, each essential for the school's holistic development. Head Boy and Head Girl: SUDARSHAN SRINIVASAN was elected as the Head Boy.JAYASHREE was elected as the Head Girl. LAKSHMI VARAPRASAD secured the position of Sports Captain. DARSHINI assumed the role of Sports Vice Captain. House Captains: Captains for each of the school's houses namely AGNI, Akash, Pruthvi and Vayu were elected. To promote the physical and mental well-being among students the Yoga leader Mukundhan was elected. Scouts and Guide Leaders: Leaders for the Scouts and Guides groups were chosen to instill values of discipline and teamwork. Deekshit Sanjay and Sharika assumed these roles, respectively. The Investiture Ceremony was graced by the presence of the school's esteemed leadership: Principal: Kokila PGVice Principal: Ms. ManjuHead Mistress/ Ms Anandalakshmi Safety Officer: Mr.Srinivasan. During the ceremony, sashes, badges, and house flags were presented to the newly elected leaders by the school authorities. The Principal Ms.Kokila PG administered the oath, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between students and school authorities in raising the school's flag high in the sky. The Investiture Ceremony concluded on a note of gratitude by Ms. Mala the Head of the IT Department. She expressed the appreciation for the collective effort put forth by all involved in making the election and the Investiture Ceremony a grand success. The Orientation Program for School Teachers is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide new and existing educators with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to excel in their profession. In view of the same , The Orientation Program for School Teachers was held in the beginning of the academic year which aimed to equip the educators with the tools and information they need to create an engaging and effective learning environment for students. The program began with a warm welcome to the new teachers and an introduction to the school's mission, vision, and values. This session set the tone for the program and established a sense of belongingness. Teachers were provided with a detailed overview of the school's policies and procedures, including attendance, grading, discipline, and safety protocols. This information enabled the teachers to perform their duties in a smooth manner. The sessions also focused on Curricular, Co curricular and extracurricular activities. Which enabled the teachers to understand the curriculum framework, instructional strategies, assessment methods etc followed in the school. Teachers were also introduced to innovative teaching techniques and encouraged to explore creative approaches to engage the students in all the activities. Teachers were trained to adopt effective learning strategies for establishing routines, managing student behavior, and promoting a positive classroom culture. They were provided with training on the use of educational technology tools and resources…which included learning management systems, Audio Visual Aids, Experiencial Learning, Project based learning, Integrated Learning, digital resources that can enhance teaching and learning process. Effective team-building activities and group discussions, were provided to foster a supportive and collaborative school culture. On the whole The orientation program equipped our teachers with effective teaching strategies, enabling them to deliver high-quality instruction and facilitate the student to learn effectively.
