Students’ Leadership Election 2026 
Young Leaders, Strong Democracy

Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS conducted its Students’ Leadership Election on 6th June 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience the democratic process firsthand. Elections were held to select the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Sports Captains, Yoga Captains, and Scouts and Guides Captains, with all candidates contesting from Class X. 

Students from Classes V to X actively participated in the voting process. The election was conducted in a systematic and transparent manner, with ballot boxes and indelible ink used to replicate an authentic electoral experience. Students cast their votes responsibly, demonstrating enthusiasm, fairness, and civic awareness. 

The event not only encouraged leadership qualities among students but also helped them understand the importance of democracy, responsibility, and informed decision-making. The successful conduct of the election reflected the school's commitment to nurturing future leaders and responsible citizens.   

World Environment Day 
 Nurturing Nature, Building a Greener Future

Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a strong commitment to environmental conservation. A special assembly was conducted to create awareness about the importance of protecting nature and adopting sustainable practices. Through informative presentations and inspiring messages, students highlighted the need to preserve the environment for future generations. 

As part of the celebration, a tree plantation drive was organized on the school campus. The event witnessed active participation from students, the Principal- Smt. Kokila P.G, Vice Principal- Smt. Manju M, Headmistress- Smt. Anandalakshmi, drivers, and support staff, who came together to plant saplings and contribute towards a greener environment. 

The programme served as a meaningful reminder that every individual has a role to play in protecting the planet. The celebration inspired students to become responsible environmental stewards and reaffirmed the school's commitment to fostering environmental awareness and sustainable living.   

Orientation Programme for Parents

Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS successfully conducted an Orientation Programme for Parents at the beginning of the academic year, fostering a strong partnership between the school and families. The programme was led by the Principal, Mrs. Kokila P.G., who warmly welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in nurturing students' academic excellence and holistic development. 

During the session, Mrs. Kokila P.G. introduced the school's vision, values, and educational goals for the year. She highlighted the school's commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive. Parents were also briefed on the academic curriculum, co-curricular activities, assessment patterns, school policies, and the various initiatives planned for the students' overall growth. 

The Principal encouraged parents to actively participate in their children's learning journey and maintain regular communication with teachers. She stressed that a strong home-school partnership plays a vital role in shaping confident, responsible, and successful learners. The programme provided an excellent platform for parents to understand the school's expectations and clarify their queries. The interactive session was well received, and parents appreciated the school's efforts in creating a positive and supportive educational environment. 

The Orientation Programme concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the shared commitment of parents and educators towards the holistic development and success of every child at Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS.   

An Auspicious Beginning- Ganesh Puja and Reopening of Class X

Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS commenced the new academic year on an auspicious note with a Ganesh Puja held at the school temple on 18th May 2026, coinciding with the reopening day for the Class X students. Students, teachers, and staff gathered to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of wisdom, knowledge, and success. 

The puja was conducted with great devotion and reverence, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere on campus. As the Class X students embarked on an important academic year, the ceremony served as a meaningful beginning, inspiring them to pursue their goals with dedication and confidence. 

The event reflected the school's commitment to nurturing cultural values and spiritual awareness alongside academic excellence. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasadam, marking a blessed and positive start to the academic year.​  

Orientation Programme for Teachers
18-05-2026 to 22-05-2026

Maruthi Vidyalaya EHPS conducted a five-day Orientation Programme for teachers from 18th May 2026 to 22nd May 2026 to prepare the staff for the new academic year.

The programme included the introduction of new teachers, an inspiring address by the Secretary Ma’am, and meaningful discussions on creating a Happy Classroom and strengthening Student–Teacher Relationships. Teachers shared best classroom practices, discussed challenges faced in classrooms, and participated in various interactive activities that promoted collaboration and teamwork.

Special focus was given to Competency Based Education (CBE), encouraging teachers to adopt learner-centered and skill-based teaching methods. Class allocation for the academic year was also carried out during the programme.

A special session on “Nurturing the Self: Experience Constant Happiness and Beautiful Relationships” was conducted by the Brahma Kumaris organisation, highlighting the importance of emotional well-being and positive relationships.

The orientation programme was informative, engaging, and motivating, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
