The Investiture Day Ceremony was held on 3rd July 2022 at 10.30 a.m at Maruthi Vidyalaya CBSE Campus. The invocation song and lamp lighting marked the commencement of the event. Yoga Guru Shri Vardhaman Kalasuru, Winner of Kempegowda Award presided over the function. Principal, Smt. Kokila.P.G, Headmistress Mrs. Anandha Lakshmi, Academic Co-ordinator Mrs. Manju, Mr. Srinivas were present amongt the dignaitaries. The oath taking was administered by the Principal and PT Master Shri. Narayanaswamy at 11.30 a.m The senior students (Grade IX & X) received their badges and demonstrated their March Past perfectly synchronized to the Drum Beat. The office bearers / prefects served snacks to the dignitaries and teachers to mark the closure of the event.
MV, CBSE unit, KadaAgrahara commenced the academic year 2022-23 on 11th May 2022 for Grades IX & X respectively. The students presented the Assembly with lot of enthusiasm and fervor. The topics ranged from Discipline, Thought for the Day, Daily News updates, GK questions and demonstration of creativity by the students. The teachers encouraged all the students to focus n their Academics, CCA and Futuristic Career goals. MV, CBSE unit, KadaAgrahara commenced the academic year 2022-23 for Grades VI, VII and VIII on 18th May 2022. The teachers received the students with warm welcome speech, presided over by the Principal Mrs. Kokila.P.G The students showcased their communication and creative talents with the Invocation song, Daily New updated, G.K questions and Nutritive Values. Grades III, IV & V commenced on 1st June 2022. The teachers motivated all the students to work hard and show over all development across all verticals – CCA, Sports and Special Talent Acquisition. Grades Nursery to II Grade: The Nursery section students attended the school on 6th June 2022. Laasya Srinath and Chandana from Grade X delivered the traditional dance and Invocation song respectively. It was a grand entertaining experience for the students from Nursery, I Std and II Std.The teachers ‘lit up the Air’ with their Warm Greeting and applayses as a token of appreciation for the ‘TINY TOTS’.
Maruthi Vidyalaya CBSE unit had conducted the Scouts & Guides Camp on 29th, 30th and 31st March 2022 with the active participation of 29 students under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Narayanaswamy , the Scout Master, Lakshmikanth, the Scout Master and Ms. Vijaya Bose, the Guide Captain. On the opening day (29-03-2022) Welcome speech was delivered by the student Laasya and Nitesh followed by the Inaguration by Smt. Kokila.P.G, Principal and Mr. Srinivas. The Activities covered the Prayer song, Moto, Flag Song, Rally and Promise. All the students learnt and rehearsed the assignments individually focusing on their Promises. On the second day (30-03-2022) students were taught about the importance of Knots, First Aid and cooking without fire. The students learnt 10 types of knots, the usage and value of First Aid and different types of Bandages. The students demonstrated and practiced this skill individually. The next task was cooking without fire which was a different exercise. Students enjoyed this group activity, they shared food items and other things carried by them. The students highlighted the value of Team Work. On the whole the activities conducted during the camp enabled the students to bring out their hidden talents and also contributed to the personality development. On the concluding day (31-03-2022) Mr.Yogashree Vardhaman Kalasuru Chief Guest emphasized on Yoga, Community service, Swach Bharath, Holy Prayer. Different types of Yoga and its benefits, Swach Bharath Goal, Holy Faith Prayer of 5 religions, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Jainism and Buddhism were taught to the students. The students also went on the Rally highlighting the Conservation of Water which was related to the World Water Day Celebration. The students spoke about the methods to conserve water and stressed on the need to save water for future generation. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the Head Boy Kushal.G.K
Art Education is important because it is an essential component of human culture, heritage and creativity. It is summing up ways to know, present, represent, interpret and symbolize human experience. Contact with ‘Art’ requires the ability to ask, explore and compare, involving the expansion and development of one’s own ideas and others ideas. Artistic creation requires a certain professional specificity, an adaptation to work discipline and the ability to respond positively to challenges. In view of the same The Art Exhibition was organised in our premises on 28-03-2022 at Art Room. It provided limitless opportunities to the creative minds for the students of Std 1 to 10. The amount of enthusiasm from the participants and the talented works of the students was remarkable. Student from class 1 to 7 displayed variety of craft work based on best out of waste such as wall hanging, wall painting, miniature out of clay, vibrant dream catchers, photo frame, pencil shading, pencil waste, best use of coconut waste/shell etc. Students of Std 8, 9 and 10 displayed craft based on the Art related to the state of Uttarakhand such as Mughal Painting, Lippan Art, Aippan art, Cloth Painting, Jewellery Making etc. Different forms of arts were displayed in the Art Room which was a feast to the Eyes. The students participated enthusiastically and spoke about the benefits of Art Education, its impact on the improvement on the academics and the Culture and Heritage of the state Uttarakhand. It helped in all-round development of the children and facilitated the language development. It enabled the students to develop their motor skills as it involves different movements like drawing, painting, cutting with scissors, holding a paint brush, pasting etc.
Maruthi Vidyalaya CBSE unit conducted ‘The Heritage Fest / Social Science Exhibition’ at Kada Agrahara Campus, Bangalore on 22-03-2022. The exhibition was a blend of Song, Dance, Role Play, Shadow Puppet Show and activities related to Conservation of Water and Heritage. The exhibition started at 10.30 a.m under the guidance of Social Science faculty, Ms. Malar Vizhi, Ms. Sandhya, Ms. Radhika and Ms. Parvathi. The opening song was the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, followed by the dance theme of Women Empowerment. The students performed a role play on the Tribal Culture of India and Shadow Puppetry related to the Mughal Lineage. The two major ‘Hall Marks’ of this event were the Cultural Food Fest and National Water Day coinciding with the exhibition. The students were applauded by the teachers for showcasing the Indian National symbols and promoting the need for saving water. The Principal’s presence evoked a series of ‘Creative Critical Thinking Questions’ which was a new learning experience. This exhibition enabled the students to boost their confidence, develop their speaking skills etc. It also enabled the students to understand about our rich culture & heritage and also understood the need to preserve and contribute towards the same.
Maruthi Vidyalaya, CBSE Unit, Kada Agrahara, Bangalore had organized an awareness programme realated to the National Water Day under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Narayanaswamy, the Scout Master and all the staff of MV. The main theme of the programme was ‘Making the Invisible Visible’ The focus was on saving water for a green planet and avoiding ground water tapping for the selfish needs of mankind. The rally was organized by the students/ Scouts / Guides of MV in and around Kada Agrahara Village to promote awareness amongst the villagers / residents with the theme of saving mother earth and water. Mr. Lakshmikanth, the Scout Master, Ms. Vijaya Bose.S, the Guide Captain and Ms. Kokila.P.G, the Principal also participated in this event and encouraged all the students. The rally gave a deep insight about the need to conserve water for the future generation.
Maruthi Vidyalaya CBSE unit has conducted ‘The National Science Day Exhibition at Kada Agrahara Campus, Bangalore on 09-03-2022. It was organized and supervised by the science teaching faculty Ms. Sumi Nair, and Ms. Sowjanya. The event started post lunch at 1.30 p.m and the students participated in large numbers showcasing the model of Water Conservation Techniques, Hydraulic Lifts, Waste Management Reduction and various model of Working Table Lamps. Charts and Pictures were displayed in the Exhibition Hall. The students demonstrated the application techniques to the Principal, co-students and faculties from other departments of the school. The students were very confident and explained the concepts to one and all which contributed to the all round development of the students. The Principal applauded the students for their credentials and contributions. The event concluded at 3.20 p.m with ‘A Birds Eye View’ by the students. It enabled them to develop the scientific attitude, critical and logical thinking.
The World Thinking Day was observed on 22nd February 2022 in remembrance of Lord Baden Powell and Lady Baden Powell of Bharath Scouts and Guides at CBSE Unit, Kada Agrahara, Bangalore. The main objective was to promote an All Faith Prayer. All the Scouts & Guides presented the special activity related to the World Thinking Day. Students read out the verses from Bible and Bhagvath Gita and explained the meaning. Mr. Narayanaswamy, the Scout Master), Ms. Kokika.P.G, the Principal Ms. Anandhalakshmi, the Headmistress Ms. Vijaya Bose, the Guide Captain and Mr. Vardhaman Kalasuru, Jt. Secretary, Banaswadi Local Association attended the prayer meet and gave away the certificates to all the winners of the State Level Singing and Drawing Competition which was conducted Online during the pandemic. The students took pledge to follow the rules and regulation and also contribute to the up liftment of the society. Devotional songs from different religion and language was sung to enable the students to understand that all the religions lead to the same path.
The Bharath Scouts and Guides, Bangalore North District organized the Tritiya Sopana Camp (One Day Testing camp on 20th February 2022 at Sri Chamundi Scouts group located at #18, 13th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.Totally 7 students from Kada Agrahara, CBSE unit participated in this camp (4 guides and 3 scouts) under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Narayanaswamy, the Scout Master. The basic aim of the Titiya Sopana Camp was to check the theoretical and practical values imbibed by the Scouts & Guides. It enabled them to understand the true spirit of Scouts & Guides and follow the rules and regulations at various levels. This camp developed the confidence among the students to participate in the Rajyapuraskar Award Testing Camp coming up in the year 2023. The main focus was on Pravesh, Pratham Sopan, Dwitiya Sopan and Tritiya Sopan, their roles, methods, usage and efficiency blended with scouts history, compass mapping, first aid usage, Promise, National Anthem etc.
