FIELD TRIP TO PLANETARIUM STD III & IV
 July 2024


On 16th July 2024 the students of Standard 3 and 4 embarked on an exciting field trip to the Planetarium. The trip provided a unique opportunity for the students to expand their knowledge about the solar system and space exploration.

The students, accompanied by their teachers, started their journey from the school at 9:15 a.m. They were filled with anticipation and excitement as they boarded the vans. The group reached the Planetarium promptly, eager to begin their educational journey.
The visit was well-scheduled to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for the students. Upon arrival, they were led to the theatre, where they witnessed an immersive show about the solar system. The presentation included detailed explanations and stunning visuals, which captured the students' imaginations.

Additionally, the students watched a segment on the launch of Chandrayaan and Aditya missions. This segment provided insight into India's advancements in space exploration, leaving the students inspired and in awe of the possibilities of space science.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the show and found it both educational and entertaining. They had the opportunity to learn about various celestial bodies, the mechanics of space missions, and the significance of scientific exploration. The interactive nature of the show kept them engaged and inquisitive throughout.

After the show, the students had some free time to play and explore the Planetarium's outdoor area. They played to their hearts' content, enjoying the fresh air and the company of their friends. This recreational time added a fun and relaxed element to the trip, making it a memorable experience for all.

The students boarded the vans and departed from the Planetarium, arriving back at school at 3:00 p.m. The trip was well-organized, ensuring that the students returned safely and on time.

Conclusion

The field trip to the Planetarium was a resounding success, providing the students of Standard 3 and 4 with an engaging and educational experience. It sparked their curiosity about space and science, fostering a love for learning beyond the classroom. The students returned to school with new knowledge, fond memories, and a sense of wonder about the universe.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION
 June 2024

International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation on June 21, 2024. The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Principal and the yoga instructor, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of light and knowledge.

The students of Standard 10 took the lead in welcoming everyone present. They eloquently spoke about the significance of International Yoga Day, emphasizing the importance of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Their speeches highlighted how yoga, an ancient practice, has become a global phenomenon, contributing to health and harmony in today’s fast-paced world.

Following the introductory remarks, the event proceeded with the demonstration of various yoga asanas. Students from Nursery to Standard 10 actively participated, performing a wide range of asanas under the guidance of the yoga instructor. The participants demonstrated their flexibility, strength, and coordination, showcasing their dedication to practicing
Throughout the session, the yoga instructor explained the benefits of each asana, educating the students on how these postures positively impact different aspects of their health. This educational component was invaluable, as it provided the students with a deeper understanding of how regular yoga practice can enhance their overall well-being.

The program concluded with sessions of pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. These practices aimed to calm the mind and improve concentration, leaving the participants feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The tranquil environment created by the collective practice of pranayama and meditation marked a perfect end to the day's celebrations.

Overall, International Yoga Day was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and well-being among students and staff alike. The event not only celebrated the ancient art of yoga but also instilled the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in the young minds.
